As an IT executive for nearly 20 years, Jim Miller has extensive experience in Computer Application and Programming Management, IT System, Facility, and Resource Management, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) as well as Disaster Recovery (DR). Most recently, Miller has been managing and coordinating IT audit and compliance projects. He also is managing relationships with corporate internal and third-party external audit groups and government IT compliance agencies.
Prior to this role, Miller worked in various IT roles at First Data Corporation over 15 years. He managed computer programming teams of six to more than 400 professionals around the world. His projects included large scale, 24×7 computer operations and global customer call support centers. He has overseen the building, outfitting and operational readiness for computer facilities inside and outside of the United States.
His Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) experience includes every aspect of the process from identifying and reviewing business requirement definitions and government controls to site and platform design and implementation, as well as testing and certification. In addition, Miller has consolidated recovery and continuity requirements for geographically separate payments processing facilities.
Miller is currently a member of the Pinnacle Bank Data Systems Board of Directors, serving as a Special Technical Consultant. He has a bachelor’s of science in Computer Systems Management from the College of St. Mary in Omaha, Nebraska.
