Joe Morales has managed international teams in environments from emerging and acquired companies to corporations such as First Data, Western Union, and Lockheed Martin, integrating proven expertise with a global perspective in Information Technology, Voice and Data Networks and Operations Management. Building on an exceptional track record for implementing cost-saving measures and transformational operational efficiencies, his expertise has yielded millions in cost savings while positively impacting the customer experience. With First Data, Joe unified an international team of over 75 network and telecomm engineering professionals, integrating networks of 18 acquisitions and consolidating Data Centers across Australia, Asia, Europe and South America. Telecomm savings in excess of $3M were realized by eliminating circuits and renegotiating with local and global carriers and hardware vendors in Asia, Europe and Latin America.
Joe established an international network providing any-to-any connectivity across 23 countries and he developed and implemented a migration network to consolidate the United Kingdom Data Center into the Frankfurt, Germany Data Center. Joe’s centralized voice over IP platform created a virtual Call Center across First Data International business units in Australia, Europe, Mexico, Central, and South America, and his cost-per-minute metrics managed transactional costs for clients and Call Centers.
Holding both a BS in Technical Management and a Presidential Key Executive MBA from Pepperdine University, Joe is culturally diverse and fluent in both English and Spanish.
