Selected Accomplishments
- Partnering with senior business leaders directed the needs assessment, application analysis & selection, 3rd party vendor negotiations, and application deployment of independent ERP systems for finance, human resources, and corporate purchasing for the divestiture of a $4B business unit. The project was completed within an aggressive eight month time-frame, on budget.
- Directed product strategy for UPS Capital’s Electronic Invoice Presentment & Payment product. Developed relationship and negotiated for technology license, created marketing strategy, sales strategy and oversaw production implementation of UPS as first client.
- Supporting the rapid business growth of First Data’s Europe Region, established a regional based technology organization responsible for the support and deployment of core ERP applications. The model was designed to deploy a standardized application footprint with local support, reducing costs and deployment timelines. This resulted in an organizational structure that will support simultaneous deployments at an annual cost 20 percent lower than originally forecasted.
- Developed a multi-year technology strategy for administrative application suite - for financial, HR, and Procurement ERP applications - that consistently delivered year over year budget savings, (averaging 10%), and simultaneously supported the organization’s growth, via global acquisitions, through diligent and efficient system integrations, elimination of redundant applications, and outsourcing appropriate technical activities.
